Annable family papers, 1800-1976.

The papers of this family consist primarily of notes and records of the genealogy of the Annable family, collected and compiled by Irving K. Annable. Annable includes notes and records of other maternal and paternal ancestors and of his wife's family, including the Adams, Harding, Kinsman, and Wendel (Wendell) families. Also included are letters to Annable, one of which describes the capture and death of the writer's uncle at the Confederate States of America Army prison at Andersonville, Ga., and military pension papers for two U.S. Civil War widows.
